On 8 th April 2005, TLC celebrated Tamil New Year Celebration at India Social Center . New members of TLC were introduced and inducted into the circle. The TLC members organised the programs, which included dances, quiz programme and music show conducted by Tamil circle. Around 250 people attended the function and enjoyed the lunch provided. Sponsors for the event were Thomas Cook, Chemmanur Jewellery, Nalli Silk, Lacnor juice and Lipton tea.

Mrs Chitra Rajasekar arranged an invitation from one of the U.A.E. local family to attend and witness the wedding ceremony on 10 th May 2005 at Abu Dhabi Exhibition Centre. This opportunity opened the doors to the TLC members to learn more about the rich cultural extravaganza of the Arabs. The TLC members enjoyed the Arabic cuisine and the royal arab hospitality.

On 20 th June 2005, TLC arranged a children gathering at Indian Social Centre, Abu Dhabi . Mrs. Veena Nagaraj of Balavikas was the chief invitee and she took the children to a dream world with her story telling techniques. She told stories from Epics, Further to this an Yoga demonstration displaying the techniques and its benefits were explained to all the children by Art of living teacher Mrs Shubha Srivastava. All children party has to end with gifts to the children and Mrs. Chitra Rajesekar distributed the gifts to the invitees and the children.

Mrs. Aparna an Art teacher conducted a demonstration class for the ladies and kids on the Artificial flower making on 16 th June 2005 at Cultural Foundation, Abu Dhabi .
